Climate Zone receives award from KeySpan

Haverhill – Heating and air conditioning contractor Climate Zone Inc. recently received a Contractor Appreciation Award from KeySpan Energy Delivery.

The company received the award for its leadership in upgrading customers to clean, environmentally friendly natural gas. Climate Zone ranked seventh overall in upgrades among participating contractors in New England for 2003.

Converting from oil heat to natural gas is affordable for homeowners within the KeySpan territory. KeySpan Energy Delivery offers money-saving incentives to homeowners who wish to convert to natural gas.

Climate Zone relocates to Middlesex Street location

Haverhill – Climate Zone Inc., a heating and air conditioning contractor located in the Bradford section of the city, has relocated to 38 Middlesex Street.

Owned and operated by Bradford resident Andrew R. DiPietro, the company currently serves residential customers in the Merrimack Valley. Climate Zone’s full staff, including 11 service technicians, is headquartered in the 4,000 square-foot facility, located near the Roma Restaurant. The expansion enables DiPietro to better accommodate his team of employees and provides more space to plan design/build projects.

DiPietro represents the third generation of his family to be in the heating and air conditioning business. His grandfather, Clinton DiPietro, entered the industry in 1946. Andrew DiPietro began working for that family business when he was 12 years old.

“The name Climate Zone may be new to the area, but the company’s commitment to customer service is part of a long-standing family tradition,” DiPietro said. “We’ve been adding staff as well as space, all of which will ultimately improve Climate Zone’s ability to serve the customer.”

Before starting Climate Zone, he was president and general manager of D.A. Bennett LLC of Albany, N.Y. He is a graduate of Saint Joseph’s College in Standish, Maine, and earned a master of business administration degree from New Hampshire College, Manchester, N.H.
